Since 2005, National Research Scholars Meet (NRSM), previously known as Graduate Students Meet (GSM), has been the beating heart of scientific exchange at ACTREC — a stage where curious minds meet cutting-edge discovery. Born from the research scholar fraternity of ACTREC with the motto "By the students, for the students", this annual conference has grown into a vibrant meeting ground for researchers, students, and scientists from across the country, all driven by one shared passion: pushing the boundaries of science

This year, we go cellular with CYTONOVAA — a deep dive into the microscopic universe that powers life itself. From the intricate dance of gene expression to the delicate balance of cellular homeostasis, from the frontiers of development and disease to the technologies reshaping how we see the cell — CYTONOVAA invites undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral students to step into the lab of tomorrow. Come share your ideas, challenge your thinking, and connect with the researchers who are redefining what we know about life at its smallest, most fascinating scale.

This year, NRSM takes a bold leap forward as we continue the ACTIIN alliance — a powerful collaboration uniting ACTREC with NCCS Pune, TIFR Mumbai, IIT Bombay, and IISER Pune, bringing together some of India's finest scientific minds under one banner. Together, we embark on a journey into CYTONOVAA — the universe within the cell — exploring the cell not just as a building block, but as a universe of possibility, complexity, and discovery.
